For the purpose of disemmination of the Erasmus+ project regarding the Human Rights in Djakovo, Croatia, I have done a presentation after one of my classes in Jagiellonian University in Krakow. My audience was my classmates and my professor of Polish History and Culture class. I explained and touched upon the points of how the Erasmus+ youth projects work, how to find their sending organisation, how to apply for a program, what to expect from the program and how it would contribute to their lives and careers. I mentioned our daily activities during the project. I also showed them the video I prepared for the project and the CET platform. After my presentation, I answered the questions raised by my colleagues.

I wrote an article to the local newspaper „Gazeta Średzka”, which appears weekly for more than twenty years in my hometown. I described the idea of Eramsus+ Programme and then I gave some details on Equality Timeline Project, the things we have done during it and about the goal of the project. The idea of the article was to inform my local community about the possibilities Erasmus+ can give to young people. „Gazeta Średzka” has a few thousands readers every week, and I consider my hometown as a small community, so I think writing an article was good in spreading the information on Erasmus+.
Please find attached pictures of „Gazeta Średzka” issue with my article, titled „”W Chorwacji o ochronie praw człowieka” meaning „On human rights protection in Croatia”.

Last Thursday (17.10.2019) I was at my university to speak and talk with students about the human rights. At the beginning I told them about what we did during one week in Djakovo and I presented what is Erasmus+ Youth Exchange. It was a group of students who study Serbian language and literature, therefore, whole session was in Serbian. During one session we did crossword, talked about human rights as well we had a discussion what could be changed in our country. Doing a crossword puzzle we tried to think about more and more words which are related to human rights – that at the end whole board was filled with associations to this term. Also, we talked what is bad in our country and what we should change. Young people were giving a lot of different suggestions about what to do to make life better in their country. Students, among others discussed about freedom of speech, what is should look like, independence why is so important and why we should fight for it. We all agreed that every human should have a basic social needs, because people deserves to live with dignity. The whole group was thinking about problems but also about solutions and where to find them. This way of education was a new experience for students. They were not aware of the existence of non-formal education but thanks to this short presentation they could get acquainted with the goals of Erasmus+ youth exchange projects.

As a part of the dissemination activities of the Erasmus+ project “Equality timeline”, on 21.10.2019 in my apartment I organized and held a presentation for my close friends, which are the group of young people from different communities but interested in human rights. People were between 21-25 years of age and they were not familiar with the Erasmus+ programme and the the opportunities it provides.
The presentation began with a short explanation of the Erasmus+ programme, it’s key activities and goals. Then, I tried (the best I can) explained the differences between a youth exchange and a training course, and provided detailed information about the benefits and the application. I showed them the main website Erasmus+: https://erasmusplus.org.pl/strony-informacyjne/informacje-o-programie/
After that, we move on to the main topic of project- Human Rights. We started talking about our rights and freedom, unequality in today society of globalization and also about violation of human rights, especially in Poland. We created some kind of pyramid five the most important human rights for us. People got a task. They had to write on the piece of paper list 5 the most important rights for themselfs, without whom they can’t imagine life.
After long negotiations, they were able to create common list:
1.Freedom of speech
2. Right to life
3. Right to health care
4. Right to education
5. Right to fair judiciary
In summary, during more than two hours long discussion and short workshop, all of us became more awere of human rights, our rights and freedoms. We feel more motivate to increase active involvement of youth in democratic life and active citizenship in our small areas. This dissemination proves, that even little discussion is essential and very needed to become more awere of how inequality in today world works.
