About us
CET platform was established as a group of experts with the aim to provide support, assistance, services and expertise in the field of the development of civil society and democratic institutions, civic values, and non-formal education for all citizens, especially young people. CET also deals with advocacy in public policy issues. CET organizes events (round tables, debates, seminars and workshops) on the issues of activism, education, promotion and exchange in the field of human rights, and development of local, regional, European and international relations and cooperation. CET especially promotes the development of creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development of civil society. CET is organisation run by youth and for youth. Nowadays CET Platform Serbia is part of the network of organisations in 12 European countries which support each other, share expertise, resources, contribute to visibility and dissemination of its projects and activities. Main focus of CET Serbia in last 2 years is active citizenship and European citizenship. The annual plan of CET Serbia for this year foresees development and support of national initiative for reform of youth civic education polity and therefore competences that its members will gain trough participation in this project are essential. In this moment CET has 103 members among which are university students, high school students, activists, youth workers, volunteers and alumni. Main bodies of organisation are: Executive Committee, Pool of trainers, Education working group, Volunteers association, Alumni committee. One of methods is that CET Serbia offers is support and mentorship to members and volunteers and any young person that has idea and wish to develop initiative, project or action in local community. Its program “Incubator of ideas” gives 4 weeks mentorship and guidance to anyone as long as goals and values of idea fit with its aims and objectives. CET has very good cooperation and communication with decision makers on local level in different communities in which it implements its activities and very often initiate cooperation with University of Belgrade, EU info centre, youth cultural institutions and many other stakeholders. CET has experience in management of Erasmus+ project, mobilities of youth workers, mobilities and young people and capacity building activities. CET also had Pool of trainers which have expertise in active participation, reconciliation, European citizenship, Marketing and PR and other topics.
